Hey, girl, hey! POV: You’re born again and want to get into entrepreneurship, yet you’re wondering how to conduct your business in a way that pleases God when so many others do not. Say less, my friend, because today’s post is for you! In this post, I define entrepreneur and businesswoman in specific ways. An entrepreneur is a person who is at the helm of their own business, even if it’s not a business they founded. A businesswoman is a woman who has a governing or executive administrative role in a business. These terms are very similar; therefore, I might use them interchangeably here.

Have God as your CEO.
In its most basic definition, a Chief Executive Officer oversees and signs off on the whole operation. They are not always the founders, but they can be. To have God as your CEO means that He is the main One you consult with for your business. You are under His lead.
Why is this important?
He knows everything. And even if He had foolishness, it would surpass everything else, especially the wisdom of humanity.
How do you make Him your CEO?
It’s simple. Get your business plan and boldly declare that from this moment forward, the Lord is your CEO, and fully submit your business to the perfect will of the Lord. As you yield truthfully, you might even realize that there are some things that you need to change with your business model, trajectory, and approach, to name a few. Be willing to go with His flow because He knows what’s best.
How could I still conduct business with a secular audience?
In the same way, some of the places you like to shop have aligned their businesses with God, or they aligned against His Word. You would remain integral, honest, fair, legal, and serving. The salvation of your clients is not a direct connection to the operations of your business, and their lack of faith should not negatively impact how you connect with them. We are to be salt and light as in Matthew 5, remember? The Holy Bible also encourages us to be living epistles read of men (2 Corinthians 3:1-3). It’s not just the words that we say, but it’s the way we live.
Why would the Creator of the universe even want to be CEO of my business?
He loves you, of course! The Lord is concerned about the productivity and advancement of your business. Newsflash: it’s not because He needs your money. God DOES NOT need your money! He wants your HEART & LIFE so that He can bless you and your business exceeding abundantly far above all you could ask or think! Why would He do this? Because the Lord loves you! And He is blessing you to be a blessing to yourself, your family, and others. Don’t box your Heavenly Father in! He’s trying to break you out! 🔥🔥🔥
Do you see how the two work seamlessly together? Be authentically you while completely surrendering to the Lord, and watch how the Lord breathes upon your businesses! Remember, He gives you the power to get wealth to establish His covenant on the earth (Deuteronomy 8:18)!
