Do you struggle with having a peaceful morning routine? It’s giving chaotic circus, starting the day exhausted, and already experiencing burnout before your morning coffee (or tea). Woman of God, you’re not alone.

What if I told you that your mornings—and days—can completely change with just 15 minutes of intentional quality time with the Father?

Like many of us, I used to wake up feeling drained and overwhelmed. But when I made prayer and worship with Jesus my top priority in the morning, a sense of relief and peace washed over me.

There’s Bible Truth for That!

If you’re like me, you’ve embraced the platitude but want to ensure this is biblical. I get it. After all, we know what the Word says about two or three witnesses. Along with my testimony, I want to share these two Bible verses to gain strength. Psalm 118:24 reminds us to rejoice and be glad in the day the Lord has given us. No matter what’s on the to-do list for the day, it’s a gift to us. Also, Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek God and His kingdom first, and everything else will be added to us. Everything includes peace, joy, strength, and wisdom, to name a few.

Strategies & Steps

  • Heart of Thanksgiving: Begin your day with a heart filled with thanksgiving. Before checking the phone or getting out of bed, take a moment to thank the Lord for the new day. Take intentional breaths, breathing in Jesus, to help encourage focus and stillness. This simple act can fill your heart with joy and gratitude, setting the tone for a peaceful day.

  • Morning Affirmations: In faith, speak God's Word over yourself, your family, your businesses, and your home.

  • Intentional Devotion: Take 5-10 minutes, with a journal, to dig deep in the Word, jotting down anything the Holy Spirit may reveal. Keep in mind that it’s not about how long you spend in stillness; it’s the quality of the time spent that matters.

It’s Your Turn!

Which small changes will you implement to invite the Spirit of the Lord to a place of honor in your morning routine? There may be a specific prayer or a particular worship song to help kickstart your day. Let me know in the comments. I’m praying for you!

In Him,

Candace
